Tentei várias usando o modo Aperture priority.

Christmas is coming. My tree is already ready and blinking a lot. This year my wish is to make some ornaments, I just don't know if I'll have spare time to do it.

Let's talking about the photo. This is my first try on doing bokeh using Christmas light. I've used the Aperture priority mode.

Feliz Natal means Merry Christmas in portuguese.

Usei uma bola com glitter dourado, um conjunto de luzes de led (essas não piscam), papel de presente para o fundo. Focalizei na bola e a máquina fotográfica fez o resto!

I used a glitter ornament, a led light set that doesn't blink, gift wrapper for background. I focused on the ornament and the camera did the rest!

Here's the recipe:

L1: Background
L2: Modify Curves to lighten the image
L3: Add Lilly texture {overlay 80%}
L4: Decrease saturation
L5: Duplicate Lilly texture {multiply 57%}
L6: Modify Exposure {gamma 1,09 & offset +0,0078}
L7: Add text and signature

Here's the original image and info:

f/5
1/25 sec

I love it!

will post mine anytime today. ^^

I am amazed at the beautiful effect created by this texture on your lovely photo! The lights are the perfect backdrop for this glittering picture.

Oh so sweet! The bokeh adds such a magical touch and the texture a soft vintage look. Thank you for stopping by the Cottage on the Corner and leaving a kind comment. Have a wonderful day!

This turned out beautiful, lovely bokeh !
Wonderful Christmas lights and texture work !
Nice week,
Sylvia

Very pretty! Good work especially for a first try!

Que legal!

Eu nunca havia prestado a atenção nestes detalhes. Mas, não é que faz toda a diferença?
Muito bacana!

Continue e nos ensine!!!!

Um grande beijo!!!!!

Beautiful both the original and texture.

This is so beautiful! I love the sparkle!

Your first attempt at bokeh was a complete success...what a beautiful photo! I've yet to attempt this myself but keep meaning to. Happy Holidays to you!

really beautiful, I love the edit! I'm doing a link up on my blog today (and every tuesday in december) for holiday shots, you should come check it out!

Great results for your first attempt at bokeh. With the processing especially it looks like it could be on a Christmas card. Thanks for visiting my blog. :)

gasp! This is so clever, I think it's my favourite of the "Holiday bokeh challenge" bunch so far! And I am just so confused by how people achieve these marvellous texture effects that I have just booked onto a Photoshop course starting 2nd Jan... Looking forward to 2012 already!!!!

The texture is a great accompaniment to your image, lovely background bokeh.

lovely, pretty image and I love the texture background. Thanks so much for sharing. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Blessings Suzanne

Wow what a difference SOOC and post edit. Maybe try moving the object further away from the light source for more bokeh!

Tnaks you all for your lovely comments!
@ Lil Mam Stuart: thanks for the tip! I'll try!
